Rosette tieback 2020

Festival season is back! Beautiful hair goes hand in hand with the festival season. Coachella is over, but summer is coming up with all your local festivals!

Today I decided to share a new Bohemian hairstyle to include in our list of festival options. I’m in love with this pretty rosette Tieback. It’s boho, summer, festival and fun! All you need to know is how to make a regular braid for this hairstyle. The beauty comes with a tieback, pancaking and roll up your braid. It’s super easy, I know you can do it!

Required items: brush, rat tail comb, spray bottle, 2 small hair ties, 4-5 small hairpins and hairspray (if desired).

Time required: 5 minutes

Difficulty: Medium

Step by step instructions:

1. I added some wand curls to Kamri’s hair before adding texture and softness.
2. Share your hair in the middle.
3. Take two pieces of hair from the front of the head. You will record two pieces and then two more directly below them. The secondary pieces are what you pull back and secure with a small rubber band at the base of the neck.
4. The first two pieces of hair you pick up are pulled back and stowed on the inside of your tieback.
5. Take your tieback and start a regular three-strand braid.
6. Go back and pancake the outer edge of one side of your braid.
7. Start rolling up your braid from below. Start rolling the opposite direction from the side you have in the pan.
8. Roll up until your flower sits directly over your tieback elastic.
9. Use bobby pins to secure your flower in place.
10. Finish with hairspray {if desired}.
