Half Up Side Braid 2020

Today we have a cute fishtail and twist combo hairstyle to share with you. It’s so beautiful, easy and easy to DIY. You will surely get compliments all day!

Required items: brush, rat tail comb, small hair ties, hairspray {if desired}.

Time required: 3-5 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

Step by step instructions:

1- Take a small section of hair from the front of your hair, just behind your pony. Divide into two parts and start a Dutch fishtail braid. This is where you cross your strands under instead of over.
2. After a few stitches, add a little new strands of hair to the strand that you cross to create a French fishtail.
3. Stop adding new hair after braiding a few inches. Continue your Dutch fishtail all the way down.
4. Go back and pancake your pigtail to create volume, sure with a little rubber band.
5. Next, take a small piece of hair right behind your fishtail braid. Divide in two and start a Dutch fishtail. Braid a few inches and then stop adding new hair. Continue with a regular fishtail all the way down the hair.
6. Go back and pancake your braid to create volume, then secure with a small rubber band.
7. Now pick up two strands of hair from the front opposite side of your head. Turn them both backwards in two turns.
8. Pull your braids and braids to the back of your head (set aside slightly) and tie them all together with a rubber band.
9. Optional: Take a small piece of hair next to your rubber band and wrap it around your rubber band to create a pony that is wrapped in hair. Secure with a hair clip or put the end through the rubber band.
10. Finish with hairspray {if desired}.
