Gym Braid Combo 2018

Are not we always looking for a new sports or sports hairstyle? If you have athletic children or only active children, this is a great hairstyle to keep hair out of your face. We have combined a waterfall braid and a French braid for this sweet style!

Required items: brush, rat tail comb, spray bottle, hair ties, hairspray {if desired}.

Time required: 10-15 minutes

Difficulty: Hard

Step by step instructions:

1. Start by creating a deep part on one side of the head.
2. On the weak side, take a small section at the front and create a regular French braid. (This is done by taking 3 strands, stroking one outer strand over the middle strand, then stroking the other outer strand over the middle strand.) Now just continue the same process before crossing the outer strands, picking up a little new hair and add it to your outer strand.)
3. When you reach the back of the ear, finish with a regular 3-strand braid to the end of the hair. Secure with a small rubber band.
4. On the strong side of the hair, take a small section at the front. Divide into 3 parts and start a French braid. (This braid will use the upper horizontal half of the hair)
5. If you have braided 3-4 stitches, you change your braid a bit.
6. Now switch to a lace trim with a twist. For this part, add new hair to the top outer section before crossing the middle section. In the lower outer area you will not add new hair AND you will split the piece in half! You will cross half and drop half.
7. Once you reach the center of the back of the head, finish with a regular 3-strand braid until the end. Secure with a small rubber band.
8. Go back to the front and start a normal French braid with the remaining hair.
9. Once you reach the middle back of the head, remove all hair and secure with a large rubber band. You’ve just created a big ponytail on the back of your head.
10. Take out the two small elastics that you used on the first two pigtails for a smooth ponytail.
