Floating infinity braid 2020

Hello! We’re back with a new hairstyle that’s perfect for the transition from fall to winter. I love that it is so easy, but very nice.

Required items: brush, rat tail comb, spray bottle, hair ties, hairpins, hairspray {if desired}.
Time required: 5-10 minutes

Difficulty: Hard

Step-By-Step Instructions:

1- Take a small section on your head and split it in half.
Take a “small” piece from the outside of your “left” section. Cross the “left” piece and then the “right” piece.
2. Now take a new section of hair on the “right” side (just below your upper section) and tick under your “small” piece (straight from the left side). Cross it over the “right” piece and then over the “left” piece.
3. Combine your “small” outer piece with your “right” piece.
4. Take a new little piece of hair on the left side. Cross it under your “small” piece, over the left piece and under your right piece.
5. Add your little outer piece to your left piece.
6. Take a little new piece of hair on the right side. Cross it under your little piece, over the right piece and under your left piece.
7. Add your little outer piece to your right piece.
8. Continue the above steps until you have braided half of your hair. (You could braid all the way or switch to a normal infinity braid.)
9. To switch to an infinity network; Take your remaining “small” piece and make a figure 8 pattern. Wrap it around the right piece and then under the left piece.
10. Continue the pattern of Figure 8 with your “little” piece until you run out of hair.
11. Secure your Infinity braid with a small rubber band.
12. Finish with hairspray {if desired}.
