Double Dutch rolls 2020

This one is for all short hair girls! Bailey loves her short hair and is constantly experimenting with different ways to style her. The Double Dutch bun has been her favorite lately. I finally got her in the studio to share her secret hairstyle with you all!

These bread rolls are perfect for young girls, women or teenagers of all ages. It is safe enough for sports or high-level activities. You can put it on or drop it off to work almost every day of the week.

Required items: brush, comb tail comb, spray bottle, rubber bands, hairpins, hairspray {if desired}.

Time required: 5-10 minutes

Difficulty: Medium

Step by step instructions:

1. Begin by splitting the hair in the middle all the way back and down.
2. Put one side in a ponytail to temporarily keep it out of the way.
3. Take a small section of hair at the front and start a Dutch braid. Here one alternates the outer strands under the middle strand. After the first complete stitch, take a small new piece of hair and add to your outer strands before crossing under the middle strand.
4. If you do not have any new hair available, take a rubber band. Wrap the rubber band twice around your braid. Pull the hair only halfway through the third wrap.
5. Here Bailey changes the look of her bun. Pull the loop as far as possible without pulling out.
6. Raise the loop to hide your “ends” and secure with a hair clip. {or more if necessary}
7. Go back and put a few eyelashes around your face and catch (or loosen) the edges of your braid.
8. Repeat steps 3-7 on the other side of your head.
9. Done with hair spray. {if desired}
