Double Dutch fish tails 2020

Today we have a delightful combo hairstyle for you. You can learn how to create the Double Dutch Fishtails.

Required items: brush, rat tail comb, spray bottle, hair ties, hairspray {if desired}.

Time required: 10-15 minutes

Difficulty: Medium

Step by step instructions:

1. Start by sharing the hair back in the middle all the way back. (If you like a side panel for the front, angle it from side to center and then back down in the middle.)
2. Take one side and temporarily secure it with a rubber band.
3. Pick up a small section of hair from the front and start a Dutch braid. Cross the top piece under the center piece, then the bottom piece under the center piece.
4. Now, before crossing the top piece under the center piece, take a new piece of hair and add to your top strand.
5. Repeat alternately between the upper and lower part, cross under the middle strand and add a small piece of hair before setting. Braid all the way until you have no hair left.
6. When you run out of hair, fasten your braid with a rubber band.
7. Go back and pull on the edges of your braid to pancake your braid so it gets a bit more volume.
8. Take a small piece of hair from your ponytail, wrap it once or twice around your rubber band. Secure the end of your hair pack by using a pointed tail to pull it back, or attach it with a hair clip.
9. Repeat the Dutch mesh on the other side.
10. Now take one of your ponytails and start a fishtail braid. Split your ponytail into two pieces. Take a small piece from the outside of the left piece, cross it and add it to the right piece. Take a small piece from the outside of the right piece, cross over and add to the left piece.
11. Continue this process for several stitches, then go back and pull on the outer edges of your braid to give it more volume.
12. Go back to the braiding and pull the outer edge all the way down. When you reach the bottom, secure with a small rubber band.
13. Repeat the fishtail on the second ponytail.
