4 in 1 pull-thru braid 2020

Pull-thru braids are seriously my favorite. There are so many different ways to make one. Today we share a few different ways you can wear a nice pull thru.

To see your own photo replicas of this style in our app, you can tag your photos on IG with # CGH4in1PullThru

Required items: brush, rat tail comb, small hair ties, hairpins, hairspray {if desired}.

Time required: 3-5 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

Step by step instructions:

1- Lift the top half of your hair (about 1 “above your ears), pull it all back and secure it with a small rubber band at the back of the head.
2. Take this 1 “hair length over your ear and divide it into 3 parts. Make a regular three-strand braid long enough to reach the back of the head.
3. Go back and pancake your braid to create volume. Put it backwards over your ponytail and secure it with a hairclip.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 on the other side of your head.
5. Pick up your ponytail and divide it into two parts. (above and below)
Add a clear rubber band about two inches down with your upper section.
6. Just above the elastic band you just put, put your fingers through the middle of the hair.
7. Bring the bottom of your ponytail through the hole.
8. Now with your upper section you’ve just pulled, add another free rubber band about 2 “below.
9. Directly over this rubber band put your fingers through and pull the lower part up and up.
Go back and pancake the sides of your bubbles as you go.
10. Repeat steps 6 through 8 all the way down until you are out of hair.

Style # 2

Take the bottom half of your hair left over from the hairstyle above. Pull yourself back into a ponytail. Put your pull-thru braid on top and secure it with a rubber band.

Style # 3

Pick up your ponytail and pull through that you created in style # 2. Bring her up and make a messy bun with the tails.

Style # 4

After completing style 1, pick up the lower half of your hair and divide it into two sections. Use your pull-thru as a third section to create a regular three-strand braid on the side. Secure with a rubber band.
