I show you half and then the transition to a more sophisticated style that is perfect for every evening! This is a sweet and simple day-night hairstyle option.

Required items: brush, rat tail comb, spray bottle, small hair ties, hair clip, hair spray {if desired}.

Time required: 3-5 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

Day: Halfup Dutch Braids

1. Start with a middle part.
2. Pick up a small section of hair on the front. Divide into three parts and start a Dutch braid. This means that you cross the outer strands under the middle strand. After the first stitch, pick up new pieces and add new pieces to your outer strand before crossing under the middle strand.
3. Continue with your Dutch braid until you reach the center of the back of your head. Stop adding new hair and finishing with a regular three-strand braid.
4. Go back and pancake your braid.
5. Use a clip to temporarily secure your braid.
6. Repeat the Dutch braid on the other side.
7. Lay your two braids side by side with middle edges over lapping. Safe with Bobby Pins.
Take out your clip.
8. Approximately in the middle of your braids, combine the hair and re-braid in one.
9. Secure with a hair clip.
10. Finish with hairspray {if desired}.
